Biography
Rachel A. Maver is an Associate who focuses her practice in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, probate administration, and probate and trust disputes. Rachel assists individuals, families, and closely-held business owners in preparing for their future by using a variety of planning techniques. She also helps guide executors, administrators, and trustees through the estate and trust administration process.
Before joining Waldheger • Coyne as an Associate, Rachel worked as an extern at the Cuyahoga County Probate Court for the Honorable Judge Anthony J. Russo and a law clerk at Lazzaro Luka Law Offices. From her experience at the Cuyahoga County Probate Court, Rachel understands how to avoid issues that may arise when drafting estate planning documents.

Education, Associations & Accolades
Rachel attended Kent State University and graduated Cum Laude in 2016 with her Bachelor of Arts degree. She continued her education at the University of Akron School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2020 with her JD degree. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association as well as the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
She was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award® in Pretrial Advocacy, which is given to the highest scoring student in each law school class at many law schools around the country. She was also a recipient of the Pro Bono Public Service Award, which is bestowed upon law students that demonstrate a commitment to providing qualified legal services to individuals who would not otherwise be able to afford assistance.

Beyond Waldheger • Coyne
Outside of her profession, Rachel makes the most of being a Clevelander. She actively cheers on Cleveland sports teams alongside her dogs, Charlie and Zoey. Rachel volunteers at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and enjoys visiting the Metroparks in and around the Greater Cleveland area. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her friends and family.
